Greenporter Hotel


The Greenporter Hotel is a small, privately owned Green-Certified hotel located in the heart of the North Fork’s wine country, in Greenport, Long Island. The Greenporter Hotel is located in the walking Village of Greenport near most restaurants, boutiques, village docks and water-front park, as well as galleries and other historic attractions. The hotel is a five-minute ferry ride from Shelter Island and a short walk from the Long Island Railroad and the Hampton Jitney. For New England travelers coming from across the Long Island Sound, the Greenporter Hotel is just a ten minute drive from the Cross Sound Ferry.

The hotel was first opened in October of 2001 and is designed in a 1950’s retro style with modern amenities. The property has 30 guestrooms which convey the feel of a comfortable beach house for the guest seeking a casual but stylish setting. All rooms feature a queen or king size bed, private bath, flat screen cable television, WiFi, AC and heating units, personal safe, mini fridge, coffee maker, as well as daily maid service and complimentary continental breakfast. An outdoor pool and hot tub along with poolside food and beverage service is available during summer months.

The on-site restaurant, Cuvée Seafood & Grille, provides an atmosphere where customers can enjoy seasonal seafood, produce, duck, wines, and cocktails of the North Fork. We offer friendly service and a high quality Farm-to-Table experience in a casual setting.

Be safe and don’t drink and drive when you are dining on the North Fork.  We are a five-minute walk from Claudio’s Restaurant, Scrimshaw, Buttacakes, Frisky Oyster, North Fork Oyster Company, and Front Street Station, which are some of Greenport’s finest restaurants.  We are also less than a 10-minute drive from the town of Southold where you can experience the cuisine of North Fork Table, the home of two James Beard chefs.
