The Greenporter Hotel is seeking a pastry chef who is passionate about baking and serving healthy and creative breakfast selections to guests of the hotel.

Continental breakfast buffet is offered to guests of the hotel on a complimentary basis. This continental breakfast is also available for purchase by outside guests. Breakfast is served in Cuvée Seafood & Grille seven days a week from July Fourth through Labor Day weekend. Complimentary continental breakfast is offered Saturday and Sunday during the off-season. Our pastry chef responsibilities will include, but are not limited to baking a variety of products including alternative grain muffins or scones and other healthy items.
The pastry chef will also set up the breakfast buffet and greet (taking attendance of guests) and seat guests. The pastry chef will also keep selections stocked at all times, manage inventory of breakfast items and keep area tidy. The pastry chef/host will also break-down the breakfast buffet and stock for following day. Pastry chef will coordinate with Chef de Cuisine and Executive Chef for purposes of inventory management and seasonal consumption. Pastry Chef will earn creative control of items baked and served.
This individual must be energetic, courteous, and organized with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. **Position is preferred for Baking and Culinary Students or Pastry Chefs who wish to exercise their creativity with helping to prepare and cook breakfast items.
