Hospitality Management Trainee, Front Office
Join an innovative lifestyle team at Long Island’s only Green Certified Hotel. Participate in rotational program and participate in the day to day management of reservations, guest services, direct marketing and group and corporate event planning. Liaise with Senior Management including Front Desk Manager and Head of Operations to ensure that all guest experience a stay that is enjoyable and meaningful. Responsibilities of the hotel management trainee include guest relations, working with Head of Operations and Front desk team on quality control through guestroom and sites inspection, inventory management of rooms and of environmentally friendly products, in addition to daily coordination with front desk management and general management.
Must love to work with people. Must be able to multi-task and work well independently, as well as within a team. Must be detail oriented and computer literate. MS Work, Excel a must. Microsoft Publisher and HTML a plus. Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) as well as professional appearance.
Degree in Hospitality Management or Business a plus
Customer Service Experience a must
Full time. Weekends and most holidays a must.
Salary commensurate with experience.
